That section was long since obsolete and downright misleading.  I have tried to
move the still relevant sections to Appendixes D and E (it really doesn't
belong at the head of a manual, which is as likely than not to have been
already installed with the tool!)

At this point, installing NASM should be identical to installing any other
program for the relevant platform.  In particular, the Windows installer
completed that set.

If there are specific details that you believe are critical and missing, then
please open another bug report, but please be specific.  Even better would be
to provide a patch.
