You guys are absolutely right.  The funny thing is that my 3 ancient reference
books (2 from Intel, 1 from Borland) for the 8086 and the 80186 don't show the
0x83 opcode for AND.  At least one online reference also doesn't show it
(http://ref.x86asm.net/).  And those were the first 4 places I looked.  I even
verified that the 0x83 instruction works correctly on a real 8088 CPU.  I
apologize for the bug report, since the bug was my misunderstanding and Intel's
bad data.  Thanks for your patience.
