Commit b2004511 of February 26, 2019 seems to have completely broken generation
of debug information (via -g option), resulting in segfaults for every file I
have currently tested.
Everything was working fine at previous commit 437e0ffa.
I have been able to reproduce this bug on every version since then, including
the latest 
commit 363f1916 of April 1, 2020 on the current development branch 2.15.XX-pre.
