I fully understand that. And I'm absolutely ready to help. I just like to be
clear: the only "test" I happen to run is compiling libjpeg-turbo. If it goes
well I assume that this version of nasm works for me, if not - I try to find
out why. If that kind of "test" can help you, I'd be glad to give you my "test
results".

nasm from nasm-2.15.03rc8-win64.zip was able to compile libjpeg-turbo
successfully.

As I can see, a new preproc.c in nasm-2.16rc0-20200715 is in its infant stage,
so some minor glitches could find a way to stay there. :) It needs just a
second review.
