This is indeed a bug in NASM 2.15 (which also affects other things, in a
serious way) still there as of NASM 2.15.05. It is not present in NASM 2.16rc1.
At this point, there are enough changes in the NASM 2.16 branch that seem to
solve real problems that we are probably pushing ahead with NASM 2.16 rather
than doing a NASM 2.15.06.
